what story do you need to tell?
All good writing tells a story, whether it’s fact or fiction - good writing uses narrative to convey information to the reader as clearly and effectively as possible.
What story can you tell your customers - in words, images and design - about your business? Is it a story with which they can identify? Use engaging content to establish a real connection between your customers and the products or services you offer.
my experience
I have excellent writing skills, honed over years of writing all kinds of material for all kinds of audiences. My most recent work has involved:
- creating web content and business plans
- the development of training content in Microsoft Word and in Oracle UPK, for ERP implementations and training in Microsoft Office 2007 and Vista
- storyboarding (scripting) computer-based training packages for policy and procedures such as equal opportunities, drugs in the workplace, and passport security measures
I love writing - and have lost track of the many articles, essays, stories, screenplays and novels I’ve completed.
I have an excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office 2007 suite (especially Word, Excel and Access), as well as Adobe Photoshop and PageMaker.
And I have a range of related skills, including design, layout and pre-press (preparing material for professional printing). I currently perform pre-press work for the Independent Scholars Association of Australia.
